Patient Financing
Laser vision correction, as with any other type of
surgery, is not a good place to cut corners. There are centers whose main
objective is to offer a lower price, but we do not cut corners to have a
lower price. Our approach is to do everything humanly possible to provide
the highest quality treatment. You will appreciate the difference every
time you open your eyes, with sharper, more comfortable vision.
Our patient financing programs are designed to make excellent vision fit
into your monthly budget. Easy monthly payment plans are available,

Our monthly payment plans are administered through Capital One, Care
Credit, and Reliance Finance.

Q: Why are
Dr. Caster's fees a little higher than some other doctors' fees?
A: We are committed to providing the highest quality care possible
at each step of the laser vision correction evaluation, treatment, and
follow-up care. You only have one set of eyes, and we don't believe that
we should cut corners in order to offer a lower fee. Our staff is the most
experienced in all aspects of laser vision correction in the greater Los
Angeles area. We use state of the art equipment, such as the WaveLight
Allegretto, Ladar6000 and Visx Star S4 lasers, which are meticulously
maintained. Dr. Caster personally oversees all maintenance, sterilization,
and programming. Extremely experienced technicians are there to assist Dr.
Caster during each and every procedure. You will be given the time and
personal attention that are necessary to achieve the optimum visual
result. In other words, we spare no expense in making sure that you have
the highest quality staff and equipment, and the best vision that is
humanly possible.
Q: Does insurance cover laser vision correction?
A: Most medical insurance policies do not regard Lasik as medically
necessary, so they do not cover it. While laser vision correction is
considered elective and typically is not covered by insurance, it may be
tax deductible depending on your filing status. Please consult your
accountant.
Q: Will my company's flexible spending plan cover this procedure?
A: Yes. The flexible spending account plan, also known as a
"medical savings account" or a "cafeteria plan", allows employees to set
aside pre-tax dollars to use for medical expenses. Laser vision correction
is one of the qualified procedures within this program. Many of our
patients have taken advantage of these programs with significant tax
savings. You may want to inquire with your Human Resources Department
about eligibility and enrollment periods.
