I was a young child when it was discovered that I had terrible vision - I was nearsighted and had astigmatism in both eyes. I went through years of wearing eyeglasses and contacts and waking up to a blurry world every morning. Glasses made me look funny and contacts made my eyes tired and red all the time. So, I decided to have LASIK surgery, and since these were my eyes, only the BEST would do.
I did a lot of research and Dr. Caster's name came up over and over again as THE BEST LASIK SURGERY DOCTOR. I went for a consultation. Dr. Caster and his staff were so thorough. I was examined and tested and the surgery explained to me in detail - step by step. I left with an education!
Ten days later, I had my LASIK surgery performed by Dr. Caster. it took less than ten minutes, no pain, and I got up from the table being able to see. Whereas I couldn't even see the large black E on the wall, I could now read the tiny letters on the bottom line - and this was the day after the surgery! Dr. Caster gave me my perfect 20/20 vision. He is truly an expert in his field, a master at his craft.
Dr. Caster and his staff are so skilled and knowledgeable, yet so personable, accommodating and compassionate. I have never been to a doctor's office that is so professional, organized and meticulous as they are! Two words - THE BEST! Thank you Dr. Caster.

I had a wonderful experience. The staff was great. Doctor Caster was terrific. Any superlative you care to think of applies. I started the procedure with - 20/500 vision with astigmatism, worn since I was 8 and tested at 20/15 upon exiting. Beyond the incredible results everyone was friendly, supportive, and accessible. I believe that they have to be the absolute best.

After decades of wearing contacts and glasses I asked my daugher to investigate the premier eye care center in Ca as I assumed I would be incapacitated to a large degree after surgery. She asked her boyfriend who is an executive at Werner Brothers to research also. He enlisted the aid of people who only use the best. Dr. Caster was the only one all came back with. After meeting with Dr. Caster and his delightful staff I made the decision to have one eye fixed at a time as in the worst case scenario I still wouldn't need a dog. Unbelievable still doesn't do justice to the results or the experience itself. I have had more inconvenience when sand has gotten in my eyes than I have ever felt in the entire process of surgery and recovery. And the lack of contact with my eyes by not using contacts had brought a whole new awareness of the unspoken value of hygiene for my eyes as I don't have to shower before putting contacts in or out, etc. I am looking forward to the pleasure of having the other eye fixed the next time I'm in Ca as I live in Wy but won't have anyone but Dr. Caster and his superbly competent staff anywhere near my eyes. My sight is priceless and the services performed by Dr. Caster and his staff can't be praised enough. With heartfelt thanks I close.

I had my Lasik procedure done in the fall of 2008--I am here today for my still recommened annual eye exam. I thank you for your excellent work in getting me my perfect vision.
I am not a famous person or anyone with a major position or stature that could help promote your services by making people say "wow" if they saw a letter by me hanging on your wall. I am a social worker for the county. I also can't write you a letter on a government letterhead--or I might get in trouble. But, I still want to thank you for everything and let you know that the best money I have EVER spent, best investment in myself--besides being baptized, was made in your offce. Yeah, Millikin University can have their degree back if it came down to it. Really, I'd have to think hard.
Truthfully, the gift of perfect vision is an everyday life changing blessing. I am thankful for the technology, finding your office, and the skill and professionalism you showed me.
If I had to give potential customers of your any advice, I would say this:
If Dr. Caster says you are a "good candidate" for Lasik--go for it! Don't worry about the procedure possibly costing a few dollars more than a possible competitor. Save your coupons for dog food--not eye surgery. There are no hidden costs here and everything is included. With Dr. Caster you are choosing a leading doctor who isn't learning on the job or even an employee. He has the best equipment, the best staff, no hidden fees and no gimmiks.
I was nervous at first to have the procedure, but it's well worth it and you'll soon be seeing the excellent results. My eyes aren't tired anymore and I am more productive and can stay up later. I no longer waste time and money on glasses and contacts and can play sports without any trouble.
Thanks for everything Dr. Caster and I sure hope you enjoy your work and keep practicing for a long time so others may experience and enjoy the gift of perfect vision!

I love being able to see! The staff at Caster Eye Center were very personable and helpful. I felt completely comfortable the whole time, and from testing to the procedure, they made sure I knew what they were doing and what I would experience. During the procedure I knew that what was going on was supposed to be going on, which really put me at ease. I always felt like I was being personally attended to, not just ran through a standardized machine. Also scheduling was easy. I felt like you could always accommodate whenever was best for me.
